Biographical Information for Mike Foster

Mike grew up in Davison, MI where he and his family were active in the church for 15 years. He was saved at a Christian camp when he was 12 years old. In 1989 he and his family moved to Greenville, South Carolina where he attended Morningside Baptist Church while finishing his high school career at Hampton Park Christian School.

After Mike graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Music Education, he moved to Vassar, Michigan where he was a teacher at Juniata Christian School for 6 1/2 years. While at Juniata, Mike taught Music, Speech, Bible, and Math classes, published a book of arrangements, helped in many ministries of the church, and was involved with missions and evangelistic outreaches in the church and around the world.

In 2000, Mike married Bonnie Flanders, daughter of Dr. Rick Flanders, and now have three children. In 2002, the Lord called him into evangelism working specifically with Baptist Church Planting Ministry and Dr. Earl Jessup. The Fosters travel around the United States and Canada helping churches start churches. Their desire is to see people saved, churches planted, and those churches starting more churches. Currently, Mike travels for Baptist Church Planting Ministry as Project Coordinator, holds revival meetings, faith promise conferences, and music seminars as the Lord leads.

Mike has had the opportunity to travel to several countries to help missionaries with evangelism and church planting. He has been to Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Grenada, Ireland, Jordan, India, South Africa, and Cambodia to assist the missionaries on those fields. The Lord has used him to minister in the churches through soulwinning,  music and music seminars, and service to the missionaries on the "front lines."

Mike's desire is to be used of the Lord in winning souls to Christ and furthering His Cause around the world.
