The following are testimonies of what God did on October 18, 2008.

"Community Baptist Church had ten go out door to door soul winning on Saturday with one adult man making a profession of faith in the Lord.In the afternoon, the church hosted an activity on the grounds with Dale Sawyer preaching, with four youth and adult man calling on Christ as their Savior. We also had one get their assurance of salvation and one come forward to follow in baptism. There were a total of 138 at the activity. Thank you for your prayer and burden for souls."

Pastor Tim Jackson, Community Baptist Church of Lansing, MI

"We had 10 folks go out on our day and saw one young 28 yr. old gal trust Christ.  We are working with her now to encourage her in her new found faith. I appreciate your efforts and I trust that the Lord will bless you for it."

Pastor Jeff Berg, Forest Ridge Baptist Church, Bel Air, MD

"I wanted to let you know that our Day of Evangelism was a grand success.  We had 40 people participate in the day.  Over 25 went out all day!  There were 2 saved and several good contacts made that we trust will result in salvations of souls and families added to the church...I hope you have plans to make this an annual event.  This time of year is a good time to have this kind of emphasis."

Pastor John Allen, Immanuel Baptist Church, Valpariso, IN

"When I received a phone call from my friend, Brother Mike Foster concerning a "National Day of Evangelism" I was thrilled. Mike's burden was to have one day set-aside where fundamental churches across our great nation would make a collective effort to preach the Gospel in their communities. Every one of us would have to agree that this is well-pleasing to the Lord and would bring great joy to His heart. Our church participated with twenty-five soul-winners and returned from the outreach with the joy of four lost souls being saved-Praise the Lord!!! We are actively out on the doors each week soul-winning, but it was a special blessing to be part of a unified effort with churches across America.  It is my prayer that this will be an annual event that churches will be involved in. Let us all do our part to get the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ out to a needy nation. I am thankful for the burden that God placed upon the heart of Brother Mike Foster."

Pastor David Mulvaine, First Baptist Church, Woodridge, IL

"Faith Baptist of Northern Macomb, Michigan, a brand new church begun on September 26, 2008, had as our first, non-Sunday, churchwide event The National Day of Evangelism. Even though our attendance is only 40-50 on Sundays, we had 18 come out for soulwinning on the Day of Evangelism! Approximately 12 of those had never been out door-to-door before. The Lord gave us a great day of representing Him in our community. We trust the Lord for fruit in the days ahead from the visits made that weekend. We've already seen growth in the believers who allowed the Lord to stretch them in their personal witnessing."

Marc Knoedler, assistant to Pastor Troy Budreau

"We had a wonderful day of door knocking this past Saturday with over 30 out to pray and go two by two throughout the city of Milwaukee.  We had10 pray for salvation.  Several came to church this week from this effort.  We are following up with one on one discipleship and praying for all to be baptized soon. Please pray for Souls Harbor as we are growing very fast and need God’s guidance and power.  Thank you for your vision and encouragement."

Pastor Paul Hoover, Souls Harbor Baptist Church, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
